Structured data

Display the contents of an Excel spreadsheet as a graph or in tabular form.

  1. In the editor toolbar, select More... > Structured Data.
  2. Choose Select file.
  3. Choose Select Files From Your Computer.
  4. Select the Excel spreadsheet you want to add, then choose Open.
  5. Select Done.
  6. Choose an option from the Display as: menu. You can always change the display type later by selecting the structured data and choosing the cog icon. 

    Google Charts provides information about the different types of charts listed in the menu. If you need guidance on how to configure a specific chart or to preview the charts, check out the pages for the following chart types: scattered, line, area, motion, bar, column, pie, organisational, gauges, map and geo.

    You can display a specific sheet of your document by typing its name into the Worksheet field.

  7. Select Done.

The structured data is added to your page. 

You can also used structured data to display the results of a network database query.
