What's new?

  • Students can now manage their tasks in a way that works for them. To help them stay on top of homework, we've added:
    • the ability to sort by earliest or latest due and set date
    • more filters including due date, class, to do or done, and set by
    • a badge indicating that a task needs to be resubmitted
    • the ability to bulk mark tasks as To Do or Done.
  • Teachers, parents and students have new views of the Marks and Feedback page. Now, when parents or students access the page from a student's profile, they can view the marks and feedback in Read or Unread lists. They can also mark feedback as read. For teachers, they can view a student's marks and feedback in the Starred and Unstarred lists. They can star a piece of feedback to move it to the Starred list so they can view it later in a curated list.
  • We've updated our font from Akko to Titillium.
  • The changes to the Parent Portal and Firefly for Parents from the 12 December update are now available by default for Australian schools. For more information, check out What's new for parents.

What have we fixed?

  • We've made multiple visual updates to the Melody theme, including realigning icons and updating the styles.
  • We've fixed an issue where manual changes to the Firefly.config file were overwritten overnight.
  • We've updated progress checks so the Description field is blank for users who haven't completed the check.
  • We've fixed a bug that caused broken pages for new customers when using the CSV uploader.

What's new?

  • Nothing new this release.

What have we fixed?

  • We've made several small visual changes, including removing the URL of the task description from a parent's view of a task.
  • We've made several performance improvements.
  • Draft tasks that have not yet been set no longer appear in students' planners.
  • When viewing groups and classes from previous years in the markbook, the data for the users who are were a part of that group appears as expected.
  • Now when you add a user to a group, that group is updated every half hour so the change is reflected quickly in your system.
